Week 10 Results
Greetings Friends~
Here are the Week 10 results. Congratulations (again) to Rebecca for being this week's Biggest Loser and additional kudos to those others that also managed to lose weight in a holiday week filled with eating. Good job!
Inspiration of the Day
Risk! Risk anything! Care no more for the opinions of others, for those voices. Do the hardest thing on earth for you. Act for yourself. Face the truth. - Katherine Mansfield, 1888-1923
Recipe of the Day
It is getting to be that time of the year when sweet treats are everywhere. If you have to splurge on something, it might as well be a lower calorie alternative. Make this, have ONE and take the remainder to work or a friend's house for a party.

My bad...imagine my embarassment to find out that NEXT week is the finale show. Ima dork!
That is ok. I was watching the Biggest Loser and recording the rest. It was fate. I really needed to see the segment when the final four went home and their families got to share with them. It is hard being the friend who is trying to be supportive. I don't think it's as hard as trying to stay on the straight and narrow but it isn't easy. I know I have issues with food, just not the same ones that most of you have. I want you (especially Chip and Susan) to succeed. You have given so much. You have given UP so much. It's hard to watch you struggle and not know the right thing to say to make it better (although I can promise I will never offer food). Those of you with miltary background know the benefit of the "Jillian" style. "Tear you down to nothing and start over." Although I found my inner strength that way (and I am almost never opposed to destruction) I don't want to be that way to my friends. I hope you all know how much you mean to me and how much I want this for you.
