Week 11 Results

Greetings Friends~

Tonight is the Biggest Loser finale...really...I have it correct this time.

Here are the results for Week 11. Kudos to Rebecca and myself.

We are now in our final week of Season 1, Part 1, of Olympia's Biggest Loser/One Step at a Time. If you have been reading, you are aware that I have asked the current members to let me know which ones want to do Part 2. So far I have heard from several people but not all. Only those that I receive an affirmative answer from will participate in the next session.

Here is how Part 2 is going to work (subject to change).

Our starting date is Monday, December 14. We are starting immediately upon the conclusion of Part 1. I thought about starting at the beginning of the new year but honestly, I don't want to go through Christmas (and New Years) without One Step at a Time. Personally, if I don't have the weigh in on Monday to look forward to (or dread), I think I will lose some ground.

That being said, the rest of you can choose to start anytime you would like. If you do not want to start until January 1st, or some alternative date, just let me know.

I haven't devised a scheme yet for how to tabulate results in Part 2. Should I continue with the overall percentages already achieved in Part 1 or use only Part 2 losses and add an additional column that shows the total loss since the beginning? Also, if you are a returning member who chooses to start later, and you gain pounds over the holidays, should you be able to start at your current weight or will you have to use the number from Week 12?

These are a couple of questions that I am struggling with. Any input from Followers and Members is greatly appreciated.

Recipe of the Day

Pork, the other white meat. This is a welcome alternative to chicken, turkey and fish plus it is low fat. I hope you enjoy it.

I find myself struggling with personal issues today and so I'm having a hard time getting enthused about anything. My small step for today is... to get through THIS day... and hope that tomorrow is a better.

Happy Trails!

Again I am happily reading the week's results. I hope all of you continue on your path to healthier living even if you opt out of the race. I also hope you are watching the Biggest Loser finale. Ya know this season had some of the heaviest conestants yet. And ya know what? They lost weight. Ok, must go. Sean just said that he named his new baby girl after Jillian.

Wow...UNBELIEVABLE...that is all I can say. All the contestants looked amazing, especially Danny, Rudy and Rebecca. I am floored at how well they all did. This should give us all hope AND inspiration.

Kudos to all the contestants...and I'm so excited that the new 2010 Couples Biggest Loser starts so soon...January for those that missed it.
