Greeting Friends~
This is your weekly reminder that I need your new weight on Monday. Don't forget to get in some exercise between now and then. It might make the difference between a loss and a gain.
Turkey Day has come and gone. Sniff, sniff, only 364 days left until my favorite holiday comes around again.
Dinner was a fine event. Turkey with all the trimmings. Pumpkin pie for dessert. I am happy to report that I managed to control myself (mostly). I had a small amount of stuffing with gravy but other than that I kept everything within limits. I did over do it with the olives, but in the greater scheme of things, I could have done much worse. I passed on the pie. Maybe some other day, when I weight a lot less.
Mrs. B dished up all the leftovers into containers which we are storing in the garage refrigerator, out of sight. I will take it to work on Monday along with the rest of the pie.
So things worked out pretty well. My knee has really been bothering me after being on it all Wednesday night and yesterday cooking. Mrs B was a trooper this morning and drug me to the gym. I sat for an extended time in the jacuzzi soaking my knee while she got in a good workout doing water aerobics. It feels much better now so I am hopeful that I can get in a workout on Saturday and Sunday. I'm sure that I need it because my salt intake with the ham, stuffing and olives has left me feeling bloated and heavy. It's turkey salads for me the rest of the weekend.
I hope that you all had a great holiday and, if you ventured out shopping this morning, that you all arrived back home in one piece.
Inspiration of the Day
Positive anything is better than negative nothing. – Elbert Hubbard, 1856-1915, American Philosopher and Writer
Sometimes the holidays provide stress and distractions that can derail me from my objective. If I concentrate on what is important, like doing the things that give me reasons to feel better about myself, then it is easier to stay on the road to a successful outcome. Pick a small step right now and remember that you too can achieve your goal if you do it One Step at a Time.
Happy Trails!

What an amazing result from our fearless leader. He made a plan and stuck to it. I know that it sounds easy, but you and both know that is not. My favorite Turkey Day foods are high in salt and sugar. I hope that you all found what you were thankful for and who is thankful for you.
