Greetings Friends~
Here is your weekly reminder that you still have a couple of days to workout and eat right. Remember to get me those new weights on Monday!
Kudos to Lee for doing her latin aerobics again this week. Keep it up!
My dogs are killing me and I've walked a gazillion miles but it has all been fun.
The highlight of last night was the Terry Fator show. This guy is phenomenal and his show was the best. We sat third row center. Mrs. B was laughing all the way through it.
Here is the best thing about Terry Fator. He spent the last 20 years chasing his dream. Back water towns, high school auditoriums and state fairs. Finally, he made it big by winning America's Got Talent last year so now he is the head liner at the Mirage and his tickets are hard to come by. He is just a regular guy. After his show started, he stopped for a moment and said that everyone there should take as many pictures and videos as they wanted. Rules be damned, he said. Nowhere else in Vegas will they let you do this. Very impressive. After the show he encouraged the audience to visit his store, explaining that ALL profits on sales of items are being donated to U.S. servicemen and the families of those that have died in the war, even MORE IMPRESSIVE.
This gives me hope, that as long as I continue to chase my dream of small steps to better health, that I will someday make the big time (of thinness).
I haven't lost any weight and more than likely have gain a little but it has been worth it. Tonight is our big finale dinner as Del Frisco's which is supposed to have the best steaks in town. I am really looking forward to it. I will be passing on the really carb heavy side dishes and concentrating on the steak. I did promise Mrs. B that we could split a slice of their famous six layer lemon cake. I'll have a couple of bites and then push it away.
Looking forward to returning home and getting back to the gym. We may need to stay up all night to get in the remainder of our places to see and pictures to take but I'm ready.

Instead of thinking about where you are, think about where you want to be. It takes twenty years of hard work to become an overnight success. - Diana Rankin
Recipe of the Day
The hardest part about doing this part of the blog is that all these good looking recipes make me hungry. Here is another that I can't wait to try.

Keep to your task at hand Travelers. All things get easier with time if we just stay with it. My small step for today is to not get too excited as Mrs. B tries to break the bank. Please pray we still have airline tickets by tomorrow. If not, we will be walking home, One Step at a Time.
Happy Trails!
